What is the FMB?
The Federation of Master Builders is a UK trade association representing small and medium-sized building companies. The FMB says prospective members are vetted and their work is inspected before they can join.

Membership is an additional independent check on our business. It does not replace the essentials of a good building project: a realistic survey, a written scope and quotation, clear communication, proper building-control steps where needed, and care for your home.
Those are the commitments we aim to make visible from your first conversation with us through to the final walkthrough.

How this fits with the way we build
We assess each garage before recommending a design and specification. The quote sets out the agreed work and the contract records the scope and payment structure.
During the build, we coordinate our trades and the building-regulations process where included in your quotation. We keep you informed and walk through the finished space with you.
FMB membership complements these everyday practices. It is not a substitute for reviewing your own written agreement or asking us questions about the work.
