  • Details of the work you are enquiring about
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited (via analytics)

3. How we collect your data

  • Enquiry and quote request forms on our website
  • Direct contact by phone or email
  • Cookies and analytics tools (see Section 7)

4. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
  • Arrange site visits and carry out building work
  • Send you information relevant to your project
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

5. Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries and running our business
  • Contract performance — carrying out work you have engaged us for
  • Legal obligation — where required by law
  • Consent — for cookies and analytics (where applicable)

6. How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry data for up to 3 years after last contact. Data relating to completed contracts is kept for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements. After these periods, data is securely deleted.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 may collect anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, device type and general location. This data is processed by Google LLC (USA) under Standard Contractual Clauses.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

8. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) — website usage statistics. Data is anonymised and processed under Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc., USA) — CRM, enquiry management, and SMS/messaging communications. Your enquiry data and contact details are stored in GoHighLevel to manage your project enquiry. GoHighLevel may send you SMS messages on our behalf as part of the enquiry and follow-up process.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — we may use Meta Pixel or Meta advertising tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Meta may process data about your visit in accordance with their own privacy policy.
  • Trustpilot (Trustpilot A/S, Denmark) — customer review platform. If you leave a review, your data is processed by Trustpilot under their own privacy policy.

Each of these services operates under their own privacy policies. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

8a. SMS communications and mobile information

If you provide your mobile number when submitting an enquiry, we may send you SMS messages relating to your enquiry — for example, to acknowledge receipt, follow up, or confirm an appointment.

Mobile information (including your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent) will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Necessary service providers (such as GoHighLevel, which we use to manage enquiries and send messages) may process your mobile number solely to deliver the service described above. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.

For full SMS terms — including message frequency, opt-out instructions and carrier liability — please see our Terms of Service.
